I Kenneth P. Milenovic, do hereby proclaim and issue a call for the 48th Biennial State Convention of the Polish Legion of American Veterans, U.S.A., Department of Ohio to be held at the Clarion Inn & Conference Center located at 240 Hines Hill Road, Hudson, Ohio, on September 10th and 11th 2011. Your attention is noted to the fact that the Clarion Inn is officially designated as the Department of Ohio Headquarters by the State Convention Corporation and duly approved by the Executive Board of the Department of Ohio.
All Units should have considered selection of Delegates in accordance within the provisions of Article IV of the State Constitution and Article IV of the State by laws. The basis for setting the number of Delegates to the 48th Biennial State Convention will be on a paid-up membership according to the records of the Department of Ohio, no later that the 1st day of June 2011, so that the selection of Delegates may be properly verified and endorsed by the State Adjutant.
Selection of Delegates should have been made, in order to receive the benefit of a prepaid mandate before the deadline. Committee appointments will be made from the list of Delegates made available to the State Adjutant. Any Delegate wishing to be considered for any special committee should notify the State Commander, by June 12, 2011.
As a State Convention brings to close one Administration with the hope of a new one continuing the programs set before each Administration. Therefore it is urgent that each Unit should send a full complement of Delegates to this Convention. You are further directed to make a study of the State Constitution and By Laws relative to making amendments. Proper procedure must be followed. Further directives and instructions will follow.
All State Officers and Post Commanders: Your two (2) year reports should be submitted NO LATER that June 30, 2011, to the State Adjutant.
